Staff & Board of Directors

Our Staff

Miss Jenn

Jenn Reynolds has been involved with the Morrison Community Daycare since May of 2013 and became a Director on October 4th 2021. She is a busy Mom of two girls Jacie and Leala Rose. She has her Associates Degree in Early Childhood Ed. and has been working in Daycare settings since 1997. She enjoys being creative and likes to make people happy!

Miss Brooke

Brooke resides in Sterling with her husband, John, and their dog, Gunner. They have a daughter, Amanda, who lives in Japan with her husband, Jamie, and their daughter, Aubrey. Brooke attended Sauk Valley College and was enrolled in the early childhood program. She didn’t start right out of college with children, but instead worked at Sterling Kmart for 26 1/2 years before it closed in 2014. Brooke then started working at Morrison Daycare. She is currently working in our Infant Room but is working on becoming a Co-Director this fall!

Miss Nicole

Nicole has been working for Morrison Daycare since 2015 and has her associate’s degree in early childhood education. Nicole has two sons, Cameron and Reece, and she enjoys going fishing and getting her nails done, as well as spending time with her family.

Miss Mackenzie

Mackenzie has been working at the Morrison Daycare since 2018. She is a floater, going from room to room wherever she is needed. She is working on her associate’s degree at Sauk Valley Community College and plans to transfer to Western Illinois University Quad Cities campus to finish her degree in early childhood education. Originally from Morrison, Mackenzie lives in Albany with her boyfriend, Michael, and their dog, Leena.

Miss Theresa

Theresa has been at Morrison Daycare since 2018, and she loves it. “Your children ROCK!” Theresa has a bachelor’s degree in education and it’s her life’s passion to teach kids. Her life outside the daycare is fairly quiet, except for when her cat decides she wants something. Theresa loves theater, the arts and music. When she gets inspiration, she loves to paint. She is allergic to strawberries and kiwis (even though she likes to eat them both). Challenges do not phase her; they make her try harder. Theresa always tries to be the reason someone smiles every day.

Miss Karen

Karen lives in Morrison. She has six amazing kids and two spectacular grandkids. In her spare time, she loves to hang out with the kids and grandbabies. She also has tons of critters, including donkeys, sheep, dogs and horses that she love taking care of. Karen loves her coffee; her favorite kind is from Starbucks. Chocolate is definitely her go-to; it’s one of her favorite food groups! She absolutely adores working with children, and currently works in the 3s, 4s & 5s room getting them ready to be successful in kindergarten.

Miss Katelyn

Katelyn came to work in our Toddler Room in November of 2021. She lives in the Dixon area and loves working with kids. She has worked with many ages and abilities in her past jobs and she takes on anything with a smile. She considers herself a cat person and loves to write stories and has recently wrote a book.

Miss Natasha

She likes to be called Tasha and lives in the Cordova area. She works with all the ages in our center at the moment. She graduated Prince of Peace in Clinton, IA. She is very interested in fitness and nutrition and loves being with  kids. She hopes to become a Kindergarten teacher someday.
